Call for Proposals: TTIX 2010 (in Salt Lake City)

We are now accepting session proposals for TTIX 2010 until March 1.

This year’s TTIX conference will be held on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City June 10 & 11 2010 with a pre-conference workshop on June 9.

Circle Discussions

This year we’ve set aside time for round-table discussions just before lunch on Day 2. These discussions will focus on a topic chose in advance. Here are the currently planned topic tables:

  1. Cheating in distance or online education (moderated by John Krutsch)
  2. Copyright, intellectual property, Creative Commons (moderated by Janel Mitchell)
  3. Course design and development (moderated by Jared Stein)
  4. Faculty training and support (moderated by Marc Hugentobler)
  5. Student support (moderated by Karen Merrick)
  6. “Next-gen” learning management systems (moderated by Brian Whitmer and Devlin Daley of Instructure)
  7. Open topics (moderated by TTIX Keynotes)

If you’d like to propose a different topic, or even moderate a different topic, suggest it in the comments.

TTIX 2009 Registration Open!

TTIX 2009 participant registration is now open through our online registration form.

Conference registration is free for the regular sessions June 4-5, 2009. Limited seating in the optional pre-conference workshop, Building Your Personal Learning Environment with Web 2.0 is available for a fee of $95.

When you register consider signing up for the TTIX social dinner at the Sundance Foundry Grill in Provo Canyon (cost: $49).
